We’ve had the privilege of collaborating with Bishop Ford Memorial School, a historic Catholic primary school with over 70 years of legacy, to create a completely redesigned website that balances tradition with innovation.
With the former platform iCampus scheduled for decommissioning at the end of March, the timeline was tight. We took on the challenge and completed the full project—from design to development to launch—within just 1.5 months.
What we did:
- Built a brand-new website tailored to the school’s identity and future needs
- Migrated all core content from iCampus, ensuring a seamless transition
- Organized and hosted a digital archive of more than 20 years of school photos and video memories
- Crafted a user-friendly interface optimized for mobile and desktop devices
Challenges & Solutions
One of the main challenges was the urgent need to transition away from the outdated iCampus platform, which was set to be decommissioned by the end of March. With only 1.5 months to work with, every phase—from planning and design to development and migration—required precision and efficiency. In parallel, we faced the added responsibility of digitizing and organizing over 20 years of photo and video archives. Through daily coordination, custom content structuring, and iterative design sprints, we ensured both speed and quality were never compromised.
Website Redesign Highlights
The new website departs from conventional school layouts. With a clean and contemporary design, intuitive navigation, and rich visual storytelling, it vividly showcases BFMS’s values, culture, and community spirit. From academic information to campus life, visitors can now explore every corner of the school with ease and delight.
Beyond aesthetics, the site was built for longevity and engagement. We ensured that the platform is easy for school staff to update, and flexible enough to grow with future needs—whether for event promotion, media sharing, or alumni connection.
This is more than just a website launch. It’s a digital evolution that preserves Bishop Ford’s proud history while opening the door to new possibilities in school-community communication.
