Founded in 2023, Apex Education is an education group rooted in the Greater Bay Area. Established by two graduates of Imperial College London, Lawrence and Richie, the group is committed to leveraging its extensive resources and expertise in the education industry to help families and students achieve their academic dreams. Apex Education offers professional services tailored to assist students in gaining admission to esteemed institutions globally.
The Challenge: Creating Edpdia
Apex Education identified an important gap in the education sector: the lack of a centralized platform where parents and students could easily access detailed and reliable information about international schools in Hong Kong.
With this in mind, the idea for Edpdia was born. The platform aimed to aggregate comprehensive data from every international school in Hong Kong, providing users with more than 20 data points per school, such as the number of students, admission exams, student results, and more. Additionally, the platform needed to offer a seamless, multilingual user experience, supporting Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and English.
Working with the Apex Education team was a truly collaborative experience. From the initial brainstorming sessions to the design and development phases, Richie Chang and the team at Apex brought their deep understanding of the education industry to the table. Together, we defined the vision for Edpdia and prioritized its goals: ease of use, comprehensive data aggregation, and accessibility for a diverse audience.
