When developing the Global Youth Entrepreneurs Forum (GYEF) 2024 website, our goal was to create a user-friendly platform that effectively promotes the event while offering seamless navigation and accessibility. We focused on delivering a clean, minimalist design that allows users to quickly find essential information, such as event dates, locations, and registration options. To encourage interaction, we strategically placed “立即報名” (Register Now) buttons throughout the site, ensuring users can easily sign up for the forum.
Given the international scope of the forum, we prioritized responsive design to ensure that the website functions smoothly across all devices, from desktops to smartphones. The site’s layout adapts fluidly to different screen sizes, maintaining readability and usability regardless of how users access it. We also integrated multilingual support, enabling users to switch between Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and English, ensuring that the site is accessible to a global audience.
Our focus on event promotion is reflected in the prominent display of the forum’s theme, “AI新浪潮 ‧ 新契機” (The New Wave of Artificial Intelligence in Business), and the clear timeline of events in Hong Kong, Macau, and Shunde. We made sure that key details, such as why attendees should participate and who they will meet, are easy to locate, helping to drive engagement and registrations.
The call-to-action elements were designed to be intuitive, with simple registration forms for both individuals and groups, minimizing any friction in the user experience. We also integrated social media links to encourage visitors to follow the event on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
